Le Loi Street reveals a stunning new look
(NLDO) - The renovation project on Le Loi Street - HCMC creates additional convenient pedestrian spaces for residents and visitors.
After nearly one month of coordinated implementation, the renovation project on Le Loi Street in Ho Chi Minh City has been completed, giving a more elegant and harmonious appearance to one of the most important traffic and commercial arteries in the city center.
The project covered a stretch of almost 1km from Ben Thanh Market to the Nguyen Hue intersection, including several structures around Lam Son Square.

Key elements of the work included repainting and refurbishing the building facades on both sides of the street, cleaning and reorganizing signage to meet standards, paving the sidewalks and median with granite stone, and adding greenery and flower beds — all designed to create a unified urban space that is modern yet respectful of the existing architectural context.
Construction was carried out in a phased, well-organized manner to minimize disruption to local residents’ daily lives, businesses, and tourism activities. Throughout the process, safety, environmental hygiene, and urban order were prioritized.
The completed project not only enhances the streetscape of Le Loi - a place closely linked to the commercial, cultural life and urban memory of Ho Chi Minh City - but also creates additional convenient pedestrian spaces for residents and visitors, especially during holidays, Tet, and major city events
The renovation reflects joint efforts by government authorities, businesses and citizens to improve public spaces, and has been praised as an effective cooperation model that could be replicated in other areas of the city.
