Star Voyager brings 1,300 international cruise passengers to Khanh Hoa

(NLDO) - Khanh Hoa province has welcomed 32 international cruise ship calls since the beginning of 2026, bringing more than 48,700 passengers ashore.

The cruise ship Star Voyager docked at Cam Ranh International Port on June 9, bringing about 1,300 international visitors, most of them from Singapore, to Khanh Hoa Province.

The visit was part of the vessel’s Southeast Asia cruise itinerary. 

After completing immigration procedures, the passengers were taken on tours organized by Saigontourist Travel Service Co., Ltd. Popular attractions included the Special National Relic Site of Po Nagar Cham Towers, Hon Chong scenic spot, Dam Market, Truong Son Craft Village, and the mud-bathing facilities at I-Resort Hot Mineral Spring Water Park.

Among the destinations, Truong Son Craft Village continued to be a favored stop for cruise operators, offering visitors opportunities to experience traditional crafts and local cultural heritage.

Among these destinations, Truong Son Craft Village continues to be a preferred choice for many cruise lines due to its traditional craft and local culture experiences.

Tourists are picked up by buses to go sightseeing in Khanh Hoa

Khanh Hoa’s tourism authorities said the province has welcomed 32 international cruise ship calls since the beginning of 2026, bringing more than 48,700 passengers ashore for sightseeing tours. 

According to cruise operators’ registrations, Khanh Hoa is expected to receive an additional 18 international cruise ship visits by the end of the year.

The steady arrival of large cruise vessels has not only helped boost international visitor numbers but also provided an important platform to promote Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa as a premier travel destination to a global audience. The growing cruise traffic further reinforces the province’s position as one of Vietnam’s leading coastal tourism hubs.
