Tet tours enter peak season

(NLĐO) - According to many travel agencies, Tet 2026 tour packages and travel products are drawing significant interest from customers.

Ms. Tran Thi Bao Thu, Chief Communications Officer of Vietluxtour Travel Joint Stock Company, said the Tet 2026 market has been “heating up” since early November and has now entered its peak period.

The biggest difference this year is that customers tend to opt for longer holidays. Additionally, there has been a surge in demand for customized tours designed for small family groups.

Customers are willing to pay higher costs for private vehicles, personal tour guides, and flexible itineraries to ensure the health and comfort of the elderly and young children.

"Tet holiday tour prices remain about 5%–15% higher than regular rates, depending on the route, mainly due to the impact of airfare, restaurants, and hotel services during the Tet period," Ms Bao Thu said.

BenThanh Tourist Travel Company also shared that the Tet 2026 tour trend focuses on Northern and Central Vietnam, with Da Nang in particular continuing to be a top priority destination for travelers. Currently, bookings for Northern tour groups have already filled more than 50% of available seats.
