A series of vibrant activities for the Da Nang New Year Festival 2026

Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang lately held a press conference to announce the 2026 New Year's Festival.

The event will be taken place over 5 days, from December 30, 2025 to January 3, 2026 at multiple locations across Da Nang City, aiming to diversify tourism products, enhance visitor experiences, and create a festive atmosphere for the new year.

This year's festival introduces a series of themed check-in spaces inspired by Christmas, music, the colors of Hoi An, and Da Nang’s signature golden hues. It also promotes coastal tourism through an extended system of check-in installations throughout the 2026 peak season.

A major highlight is the “Da Nang – Welcome New Year 2026” on Bach Dang walking street, taking place over three nights - December 30, December 31, 2025, and January 1, 2026. The program features interactive art spaces, street performances, and connecting musical showcases.

For the first time, Da Nang will host the nighttime running event “Light Up the Han River – Run to the Future” on the evening of December 31, 2025.

The festival also includes an opening ceremony on the east bank of Dragon bridge, the Cheer Fest culinary space, countdown art nights in Tam Thanh and Hoi An, and the Da Nang Concert 2026 at the Da Nang Museum.

A variety of art performances, street events, and activities to welcome the first flight and first train of the year will also be held concurrently.

In addition, Da Nang City has implemented numerous year-end shopping stimulus programs, such as the Mega Sale, the branded goods festival, and the "Trust in Vietnamese Goods" exhibition.

The festival is expected to create a lively atmosphere, spread a spirit of creativity, and further demonstrate Da Nang's position as a leading festival destination in the region.
