The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has announced that the 2025 International Puppetry Festival will be held from November 15 to 26 in Quang Ninh Province, featuring the participation of approximately 12 to 15 professional puppetry troupes from various countries and territories.

The host country, Vietnam, will be represented by prominent troupes such as the Vietnam Puppetry Theatre, Thang Long Water Puppet Theatre, Hai Phong Puppetry Troupe, Phuong Nam Art Theatre (Ho Chi Minh City), and Dong Nai Art Theatre.
This event offers an opportunity for Vietnam to showcase the essence of both traditional and contemporary puppetry, while also fostering cultural exchange and mutual learning between Vietnamese and international artists.
The 2025 International Puppetry Festival also serves as a platform to promote Vietnam’s cultural and tourism image. Quang Ninh, home to the world-renowned Ha Long Bay, will be an attractive destination, offering international friends a glimpse into a culturally rich and hospitable country.
