The Vietnam Private Economy Panorama Model aims to foster a “Public-Private Nation Building: Strong and Prosperous” vision, promoting mechanisms for collaboration and shared responsibility between the private sector and state agencies in economic development. It serves as a platform for uniting the intellect, resources, and impactful voices of the private business community, from large enterprises to small businesses, to help realize the goal of making the private economy a key driver of the national economy.

Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao, Chairwoman of Sovico Group, noted that the private economy currently contributes over 40% of Vietnam’s GDP and is on track to reach 60-70%. She expressed: “Private enterprises work alongside the government in policy planning to ensure that every economic decision is grounded in science and practice. This is not just a tool but a lever to unlock resources, positioning the private economy as a national pillar and the main driving force in the country’s development agenda through 2030, with a vision to 2045.
“We understand that an entrepreneur’s responsibility goes beyond profit to creating social value, promoting sustainable development, protecting the environment, and fostering national confidence,” Thao emphasized.
In an era of robust national development and integration, billionaire Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao stated that private and national enterprises have a mission to lead in innovation, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, green technology, and green finance. These efforts aim not only to advance their own growth but also to realize Vietnam’s aspiration for prosperity.
