In the days of April, I had the privilege of accompanying the fighter helicopter squadrons of the 917 Helicopter Air Regiment as they conducted training and paraded across the sky of Ho Chi Minh City.
The roar of the helicopter engines blended with the strong winds and the sweltering heat of the South, making everything below the wings appear small yet stretching out like a vibrant, colorful painting.

The city sparkles in the morning sunlight, a harmonious blend of modernity and tradition, bustling crowds, and serene rivers. Every road, bridge, building, and ongoing construction project narrates a story, chronicling the evolution of Saigon - Ho Chi Minh City through the years.
The hearts of every crew member, including mine, swelled with emotion as we witnessed the remarkable transformation of the city over the past 50 years. It is not just a story of urban development but also one of memories, milestones, and the dreams of generations of its people.

The area of Binh Thanh District today, with the new Metro line running from District 1… The district is home to many famous landmarks such as Landmark 81, Lang Ong (Ba Chieu), Ba Chieu Market, Thanh Da Embankment, and Binh Quoi Tourist Area…
The flight crew not only delivered a breathtaking performance by E-917 but also ignited national pride and deep respect for those who protect and build the nation. The pilots—artists of the sky—can become extraordinary storytellers from above, and that is a truly special mission.

The Dien Bien Phu or Nguyen Binh Khiem roundabout, intersected by the green Nhieu Loc - Thi Nghe Canal, is considered an icon of Saigon with its four-faced clock tower. It serves as the intersection of Dien Bien Phu and Nguyen Binh Khiem roads (Da Kao Ward, District 1), connecting traffic between the eastern gateway and the center of Ho Chi Minh City…
Truly a memorable moment!

Nguyen Du Boulevard intersects Ton Duc Thang Boulevard, adjacent to the chapel within the Saint Joseph Major Seminary in Saigon, measuring 30 meters long, 10 meters wide, and 10 meters high, featuring the distinctive French Gothic architectural style, built in 1863 by Father Wilbaux.

Located in the heart of District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, Notre Dame Basilica of Saigon stands out with its classic French architecture and spacious ambiance, both outside and inside the sanctuary. It is a must-visit destination for tourists exploring the vibrant Ho Chi Minh City.

The former Khanh Hoi area, now District 4, was formed by the regions of Khanh Hoi, Vinh Hoi, Cay Bang, Xom Chieu, and the islet. District 4 is known for place names such as Xom Chieu and Khanh Hoi. These are familiar names to the people of Saigon – Gia Dinh when referring to District 4.
