In the first days of the New Year 2026, tourist attractions across Can Tho City have welcomed a large number of visitors coming to relax and experience the city's distinctive cultural offerings.
Ms. Tran Thi Kim Loan, owner of the Tu Dung Ecotourism Site in Nhon Ai Commune, Can Tho City, said: "Ahead of the Western New Year, the site thoroughly prepared ingredients and created numerous miniature scenes reflecting the traditional Lunar New Year, along with photo-op corners that embody the rustic charm of the Mekong Delta's riverine culture, such as bamboo monkey bridges, flower gardens and boat docks, to meet visitors' demand for souvenir photos."

She added that for foreign visitors, the site also offers additional activities such as cooking-class tours, where guests are taken to the local market to buy ingredients before cooking their own dishes under staff guidance, as well as cycling tours around the area.
Although it is not yet fruit-harvest season, the 100-year-old Mangosteen Garden Ecotourism Site in Thanh Xuan Commune remains crowded with visitors. The site features 200 mangosteen trees, including two that are over 100 years old and the rest aged 40 to 50 years, creating a lush and refreshing landscape.

Nguyen Tan Tai, a visitor from Ca Mau, shared: "I saw online that there are two mangosteen trees here that are more than 100 years old, so I brought my family to see them. Although it is not the fruiting season, being able to touch and see the ancient trees up close is already quite exciting."
Meanwhile, from the early morning hours, the Sau Hoai rice noodle workshop in An Binh Ward has been bustling with visitors from near and far. Mr. Huynh Huu Hoai, the owner of the workshop, said his family has been making traditional rice noodles for generations. Many years ago, they began developing tourism by welcoming visitors who wished to learn about the traditional rice-noodle-making process.

Mr. Hoai has also created a unique dish called "pizza rice noodle", which has earned strong praise from foreign visitors. The dish features a crispy base made from tapioca rice noodles, topped with eggs, braised pork, roasted peanuts, fried shallots and chili sauce.
"Over the first three days of the new year, the workshop welcomed roughly 200 foreign visitors and more than 100 domestic visitors per day," Mr. Hoai said.
