Phở Sen SASCO: The essense of Vietnamese cuisine goes global to conquer Singapore

(NLĐO) - After making its mark at Vietnam Phở Festival in Tokyo (2023) and Seoul (2024), Phở Sen SASCO continues its international journey to Singapore.

Inspired by a love for lotus and Vietnamese phở, SASCO brings Phở Sen – a symbol of Vietnamese culinary excellence and hospitality – to Vietnam Phở Festival 2025, held at Our Tampines Hub, Singapore’s largest integrated community complex.

Organized by the Vietnamese Embassy in Singapore, Tuoi Tre Newspaper, and Saigontourist Group, under the direction of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam and the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, the Vietnam Phở Festival 2025 serves as a bridge promoting culture, trade, and tourism between Vietnam and Singapore.

Following the opening ceremony, Vietnamese and Singaporean delegates joined visitors on a tour of the festival, exploring phở booths and savoring Phở Sen SASCO alongside other renowned Vietnamese phở brands.

Phở Sen SASCO is a special dish created from national pride and the spirit of Vietnamese hospitality. In the business lounges operated by SASCO, Phở Sen is regarded as an "iconic dish," embodying SASCO's dedication to enhancing the airport experience.

Crafted from the purest ingredients of the Vietnamese countryside, Phở Sen features soft, aromatic noodles made from rice flour blended with finely ground roasted lotus seeds, creating a uniquely smooth and subtly sweet texture. 

The broth, simmered from beef bones and marrow, harmonizes with lotus root, sá sùng (sea worm), and traditional Phú Quốc fish sauce, forming a crystal-clear, naturally sweet “symphony of purity.”

To savor Phở Sen is to fully appreciate the Vietnamese spirit – the simplicity, sophistication, and warmth of the people of Vietnam.

At Vietnam Phở Festival 2025, alongside other celebrated brands such as Phở Thìn Bờ Hồ, Phở Ta, Phở Phú Gia, and Phở Vượng, Phở Sen delivers a message of Vietnamese culture – hospitable, creative, and refined, contributing to a vibrant “symphony of Vietnamese cuisine.”

Through this journey, SASCO aims to share the warmth and elegance of Vietnamese memories — so that wherever travelers go, they’ll remember the gentle lotus-infused flavor of phở and the heartfelt spirit of Vietnam.

From Tan Son Nhat to Japan, Korea, and now Singapore, Phở Sen SASCO proudly continues its mission of bringing the essence of Vietnamese cuisine closer to the world.

Vietnam Phở Festival 2025 reaffirms the cultural, economic, and tourism value of Vietnamese phở and cuisine in general amid growing regional cooperation. With the theme “Phở – Enjoying together, growing together,” the festival aims to expand B2B partnerships while offering Singaporean audiences an authentic, sophisticated taste of Vietnam.
